In accordance with the Articles of Association, the highest authority of HELMEPA is the General Assembly of its Members, who elect every two years the 15 members of the Board of Directors from a list of candidates representatives of Member-companies as well as honorary members.

The General Assembly sets the general policy of HELMEPA, controls and approves activities and expenses undertaken by the Board and has the right to change Articles of the Statutes of the Association and revoke a Membership under specific circumstances.
